During my Erasmus in Romania I went to Zilina to meet my friends Varela and Moura. They were doing Erasmus at this place and this trip was a good way to learn more about Slovakian culture and nightlife.

I don't have too much to share on this page but, if you like alcohol the next section is perfect for you.

The recipe for the original name Tatranský čaj was developed by people living in the mountains of the High Tatras (Slovakia/Poland border region). It was an old custom among them to offer guests they had, to defend against cold, hot tea enriched with herbal liqueur. This recipe was also the basis of today's drink.

This drink has a peculiarity. When you drink it as a shot, the first 5 seconds it tastes very good and sweet but then you feel a huge pain in your throat...
